Nancy Addison’s health struggles, including acute anemia, sent her looking for the link between food and true wellness. The deaths of her father and the doctor from cancer deepened that search and shaped how she would raise her children and teach others.

She is a Certified Health Counselor through Columbia University and certified in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell. She trained at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York, in Mediterranean cooking in Greece, and in French and Chinese cuisine in London and is a certified raw-food chef and teacher.

She served as personal chef and nutritionist for actor Larry Hagman, who said that after five days of her program, his blood test was the best in sixteen years.

Addison has written seven award-winning nutrition cookbooks. She hosts a radio program now in its 13th year, was the health expert on BronxNet and The Broadcast, KTXD-TV, still leads health retreats, and counsels people and animals who want to be healthy.
