I met with Eugene Thilsted of the EPA and presented the petition with 167,656 supporters signatures!

The European Union has already banned neonicotinoids, and it is now time for the United States to follow suit. We are calling on the EPA to implement a US ban immediately, before it is too late.

Neonicotinoids have been used in seeds that cover more than 150 million acres — that is the size of California and Washington combined. In one incident, over 37 million bees died after one corn crop was planted with the toxin.

Friday, April 22, 2016, at 10 AM, I met with Eugene Thilsted of the EPA and presented the petition with 167,656 supporters signatures!

Crops and food prices have already taken a hit because of record-breaking droughts. Add colony collapse disorder to the mix, and our tables will soon be empty of the fruits and vegetables we’ve come to count on.

Do we want to leave our children and grandchildren a world without bees?

The stakes are too high, and we owe it to them to take action now.

Nancy Addison has just been named Associate Program Director for the non-profit Greater Caribbean Energy and Environment Foundation of Texas

Nancy donates a good deal of time to charity work. One of Nancy Addison’s passions is saving the environment.

Nancy has just been named Associate Program Director for the non -profit Greater Caribbean Energy and Environment Foundation of Texas. Nancy is helping to implement educational programs in schools that teach about environmental sustainability of the oceans, plant and fish life ecosystems. Nancy is helping to raise money for restoring the coastal areas of the world. The group is starting with Texas coasts. The no-profit’s President, Dr. Anitra Thorhaug, who teaches at Yale University, is known to be the greatest sea grass expert today. She has implemented the most successful sea grass restoration /gardening work to date. Nancy wants to help save the oceans. They are in such a decimated condition.These grass restoration projects will help with the global climate by taking carbon out of the air.
