Oil Pulling, To Detox Your Mouth And Whiten Your Teeth, nancy addison, Organic healthy life

Question:

I have some dark, puffy circles under my eyes,. What does that mean and is there a way to help them go away?

Answer

Yes, good question.

The dark circles under the eyes are usually a sign of toxic overload.

When we sleep, we naturally detoxify.

A lot of those toxins go into the mouth. Over time, those toxins will continue to accumulate if you are not doing something to naturally eliminate them. They can cause dark circles under the eyes, and eventually ill health.

You must know by now that I am a detox enthusiast!

I feel we are always needing to detoxify from some harmful elements we are exposed to on a daily basis.

Some studies show that we are probably exposed to over 420 chemicals a day.

Oil pulling, or you might think of it as oil swishing, refers to putting a teaspoon of oil in your mouth and then swishing it around in your mouth and in between your teeth for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. I highly encourage you to try this, and do it as long as you can, for better results. Do it as long as you can, when first starting, and try to work up to doing it for 20 minutes for maximum health benefits.

Oil Pulling is an Ayurvedic Remedy used to enhance oral health and well-being. Oil pulling detoxifies the body, removes unsightly stains on teeth, and prevents illness and disease.

Try this on a consistent basis for a couple of weeks, and see how amazingly clean and fresh your mouth feels.

Ingredients

Pure, organic coconut oil or organic castor oil

Unrefined mineral-rich salt

A tongue scraper

A toothbrush

Purified, (non-chlorinated) water

Directions

First thing in the morning, before brushing your teeth or eating anything, take 1 teaspoon of pure, organic coconut oil or castor oil (which actually pulls deeper toxins) into your mouth and swish the oil around in your mouth, tilting your head back, so that it can get to the back molars.

It is very important that you keep the oil in your mouth the whole time and Avoid Swallowing It. (It may taste strange the first few days, but you will get used to it—just stick with it.)

Pull the oil through your teeth and chew the oil so that it activates the saliva. Do this for at least 10 -20 minutes. The oil will turn white in your mouth as you do this. The oil pulls toxins and excess mucus out of the blood through the mucus membranes in the mouth.

Spit the oil out in a tissue or the toilet. Avoid Swallowing The Oil.

After spitting it out, swish your mouth with a cup of warm purified water, along with a pinch of unrefined, mineral-rich sea salt.

Immediately following the mineral-rich salt-water rinse, brush your teeth thoroughly. Use a tongue scraper to clean your tongue well, and then use a toothbrush to clean the roof of the mouth.

Next, drink 2–3 glasses of warm purified (non- chlorinated and non- fluoridated) water with a little bit of the mineral-rich salt in it.

The result will be a fresh, relaxed feeling. Gums will bleed less and teeth will get whiter.

If you do this on a continual daily basis, the dark, puffy circles under your eyes should start to disappear. You may even have more energy, a better memory, clearer skin, healthier gums, whiter teeth, and a better night’s sleep! Try it!
