i was looking for snacks to add to me and my husbands lunch box and while we consider nearly all of this to be junk (besides the sweet potato fries) and i wont be making any of it, it is healthier than what see 99% of people give their children after school. i used to work at a day care and you would be MORTIFIED to see what some parents let their TODDLERS take as a nutritious snack. cokes, chips, gummy bears, animal crackers (refined white flour, hydrogenated oils and sugar), those little cups of yellow processed cheese products with the white flour bread sticks :O. even one of my close friends, who i know tries, used to let her kid live on chicken nuggets and "pink juice - some kind of lemonade abomination" so if thats your kids current diet, this is a step in the right direction!
