Healthy Snacks For Children
I was on KTXD TV channel 47, The Broadcast, yesterday with Lisa Pineiro talking about Healthy Children’s Snacks.
We were shooting off site at the Parks Mall in Arlington, Tx.
Here is the link for the show segment.

Carrots and hummus are a great healthy snack. A great way to get some veggies into them.
healthy snacking keeps your metabolism working.
i was looking for snacks to add to me and my husbands lunch box and while we consider nearly all of this to be junk (besides the sweet potato fries) and i wont be making any of it, it is healthier than what see 99% of people give their children after school. i used to work at a day care and you would be MORTIFIED to see what some parents let their TODDLERS take as a nutritious snack. cokes, chips, gummy bears, animal crackers (refined white flour, hydrogenated oils and sugar), those little cups of yellow processed cheese products with the white flour bread sticks :O. even one of my close friends, who i know tries, used to let her kid live on chicken nuggets and “pink juice – some kind of lemonade abomination” so if thats your kids current diet, this is a step in the right direction!
