Health and the Peaceful Mind

The Importance Of Self-Care, by Nancy Addison, nutritionist, Organic Healthy Life

True health is having true peace in our heart, mind, and soul. When we are totally at peace, we can have total health.

What are you saying to yourself as you walk around all day and night? What thoughts are going through your mind? Every single thought is an affirmation.

Whatever you are thinking about constantly is your affirmation. Change your affirmation to say nice things about yourself and your life. Avoid focusing on the negative; focus on the solution. Make the new positive thoughts your matra and create new patterns of thought.

There is the child within you, in your heart and soul. Nurture your child within as you would your own child or other people’s children. Treat yourself with love and nurturing. Be patient with yourself. Give yourself a break. It is okay.

Release old pains of the past; they do not serve you. Forgive yourself and others, and forget. It does not condone what others did, but it can free your mind from those negative thoughts that are only hurting you.

Release them and set yourself free. Dwelling on things that happened in the past, keeps you in the past. What we think is a choice.

Choose to live with joy and passion in the very present moment. You may see positive opportunities appear as soon as you start creating a positive, present mindset.

I wish you true peace and joy in your life.

Love, Nancy
